”The inn is a colorful, quirky, friendly place to stay in an area where traditional motel and hotel accommodations can be very expensive in the summer. Initially affordability was the reason we picked the inn, but its funky charm and beautiful country vibe really won us over. It's like a boarding house in that it has small, comfortable rooms with double beds and large common areas for eating and relaxing, including a large kitchen that is perfect for preparing one's own meals. ”The inn above this bar is a quirky place to stay. The rooms are basic - no coffee maker, TV, or other amenities - but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean. (Running a vaccum cleaner in the rooms and on the stairs once in a while would be a good idea.) As far as noise, the bar usually closes at 10, so that was not an issue. ”The owners did such a nice job at renovating this adorable motel. The rooms are very cozy and comfortable- pale green paint and wainscotting, white-washed ceilings and other stylish touches. They have really thought of every little detail to make the rooms special- a light up mirror in the bathroom, retro-looking fridge, nice wood and tile floors, complimentary local yogurt and granola- even a portable ironing board and iron are provided.
