A beautiful estate that met all of our needs and provided a wonderful setting for our groups stay. The property manager had clear communication and the check in/out process was simple. ”It was difficult to go inside because the view was so compelling! We were 7 adults and 2 small kids and had plenty of rooms and plenty of room to be together. The kitchen had everything we needed and seats for everyone. Location ideal. The house did have two room air conditioners but it was tough to keep all parts of that large house cool. We had record heat during our stay in July so that was part of it. Overall great for a family visiting Lake Tahoe.”

”This is a one-of-a-kind property. The views are spectacular, everyone was very comfortable as there is a lot of space, and it feels very private. The drive to South Lake Tahoe where all the stores and restaurants are is short and pretty. Last second there was an issue with some amenities that was out of the owner's control but they handled it promptly and professionally. I would definitely recommend the house and would come back for an another family trip.”

”Beautiful Lakefront Escape for a Large Family Gathering. My family of 9 adults and 1 toddler stayed at House of the Stars over the holidays to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. The host was extremely accommodating, allowing us an early check-in so we could settle in before the celebrations began. The home was immaculately kept and had everything we needed to feel comfortable as a large group. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the pots, pans and appliances necessary to cook multiple meals...

”Love the place and have stayed many times over the years. However they really ruined it by allowing pets. Unbelievable and so awful. The room next to us had a dog in it and we hade to listen to it barking for hours and banging noises all evening. This should never be allowed in any Hotel. So ridiculous. ”
