I spent most of my time listening to the birds (Summer Tanager, Indigo Buntings, Cardinals very vocal Barred owls, etc.) and watching the sun set over the hills. I couldn't ask for a better stay! ”We stayed in the “tiny house” on the property and it was exactly like the pics. Clean, well-stocked with necessities, and all the comforts. Plus a nice deck with a beautiful view. The resort is laid back and peaceful. Not fancy but very well-kept! Reminded me of being at summer camp with the cabins and lake 😊. We rented kayaks and a pontoon boat, which was super easy. ”The house in the pictures is not the house at the listed address and someone actually lives there. I don't know why VRBO hasn't taken this listing off the website. I tried to contact the owner several times the day before check and and the day of - no response. When we arrived at the address, there a lot of stuff (junk) in the yard, a junked car in the drive and a large aggressive dog to meet us. Needless to say, we did not get out of your car. We contacted VRBO that told us the owners phone...

"Our first impression of the hotel was positive as Eboni in the reception was just the sweetest! When we got into the room, it was a worn out but functional. No coffee machine thou. A lot of stains on the carpets and furnitures. There seems to be a lot of personnel, but nobody (apart from the receptionist) seemed to be busy or active. Breakfast was the biggest joke - there was no coffee and only limited types of food available after 9 AM. The second morning, coffee ran out already at 8:45. Same problem with the food. There is a lof of staff, but nobody seemed to be flexible with their assignments. This leads to the fact that there were several staff members hanging around but nobody was taking care of the breakfast. Maybe this is a HR issue, but very unfortunate."
