”The hotel is decent, but not for the amount of money that they charged. The pool was broken so I couldn’t use it. There is a smell throughout the entire hotel that isn’t pleasant. Most definitely in need of renovation. Breakfast was decent, but very typical”

”Over all this hotel was excellent the only issue I had was the bathroom floor was very slippery after I showered. I did not get the floor wet but condensation from the shower made it very slippery”

”Properly grounds and staff were beautiful. The only issue was the hot water it took a long time to get hot and it didn’t get very hot. The towels and bed linen were soft and comfortable for showering and sleeping. I was in a suite and I would stay again in that exact same room,”

”New, clean accomodation and all staff was polite, friendly and helpful. Did not like not having at least complimentary am coffee in the lobby. In room coffee is a one cup packet only and was not replentished during my stay.”

The level of ignorance and incompetence did not leave me with any faith that they could use the mail correctly. I was genuinely afraid if left in their hands that I may never see my items again. ”We have stayed here on 3 separate occasions and we love it so much we haven’t tried anywhere else in Tuscaloosa. The location to the university can’t be beat, the pool is clean, and staff is always friendly. We will be back.”

”Great room, lots of walking options for restaurants”

”The hotel is very well maintained with a nice rooftop bar/restaurant. You can see Bryant Denny from there as well as downtown Tuscaloosa. Location was great for downtown Tuscaloosa, you can easily walk to restaurants and shops. Staff was welcoming and nice. Answered our questions with a lot of info. Has valet parking but we didn't need it for a June visit. Short drive to UofA campus, but probably not walkable.”

”This hotel was a nice surprise. It’s very well taken care of and clean. They could definitely use some upgrades in the bathrooms and with the TVs/remotes, but other than that, I really enjoyed my stay. They had a really effective and simple way to check in in advance l, and a human being texting before you arrived to make sure any special needs were taken care of. This was really nice and quite a surprise.”

”We switched my guys through about five rooms and each one had mold in the bathroom, AC did not work or all kinds of spider webs and spiders in the rooms. Very unacceptable conditions. I ended up calling Expedia and getting a refund. I put them in the Hampton across the street.”
