”The Park is definitely a worthwhile splurge. Room was well appointed and the staff was warm and friendly. Kenmare is a great backdrop for a wonderful trip. If I had to make a "complaint" it would be that the carpet is so thick and plush it made pulling the wheeled luggage challenging, but that is not a serious complaint. ”

”The hotel was fantastic - very clean, right on the main road with all the shops. Staff were fantastic. We left an item, sent and e-mail to them explaining what was left and they sent it to us via post. Cannot say enough good things about the Lansdowne Kenmare.”

”The room was spotless and amazing. This was one of our tops stays on a 2 week trip. Right in the heart of Kenmare, we parked right out front. No elevator so not ideal if you need accessibility. The beds, shower, and hotel were terrific! We took the room with a balcony which was enjoyed even in December. Highly recommend! They also have a wine bar attached and served a lovely breakfast. ”

”Very accomodating as wife a bit difficulty with mobility so organised ground floor room. Evening meal was superb. Rack of lamb to die for Breakfast excellent with fresh and local produce available. We had no pets but is dog friendly and other guests had a dog and were very happy”

”Easy check in w the bartender. We were on the third floor, which was a quick walk up the stairs, I don’t think there is an elevator / lift, which wasn’t an issue for us. The town is pretty small and the pub/inn is right in the middle of town. We were able to find parking 1 street over. We ended up having dinner in the pub which was decent, not great. We stayed for the live music which was nice. Breakfast is included so we headed down to the pub where coffee, tea and juices are available. ...

”The Maritime is always an amazing treat to look forward to in Bantry. It has incredible staff, a great standard of cleanliness, amazing amenities, delicious food and within walking distance of Bantry town itself. You’ll enjoy great views of Bantry Bay from your bedroom window. Everybody should have it on their list. ”

”The hotel is lovely and the staff are the most caring. We arrived late in the night and they were ready to make us food even though the kitchen was closed. The room was spacy and the beds were comfy. Tiny downside was that the wifi doesn't work in the rooms, only in the lobby, and was very slow even there.”

”Everything was perfect! Both room 1 & 3 were super clean, warm home, lovely powerful shower, spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Trish & Chris were lovely hosts, you can tell they take pride in their welcoming home, delicious cooked breakfast, would love to visit again!”
