I don't know the exact location, but I know it was on the A9. These rocks are broken up and can be up to 15 feet deep. It's a beautiful place. The transition into the highlands of Scotland may be the most beautiful landscape I have ever seen. If there is anything I could do if I went back to Europe it would be to go back to the Scottish highlands.

At the mouth of the Lawers Burn. A pebbly shore where the Lawers Burn flows into Loch Tay. The old, abandoned village of Lawers lies just inland.

2 nights at this beautiful located hotel. Our room was very clean, comfortable, warm and quiet. Lovely to sip a coffee and look out of the window at the loch and snow topped mountains. We used the pool and hot tub before our room was available which we enjoyed. The lady at reception was really helpful. Our room was excellent and situated on the ground floor not far from our parking spot. We had a tasty breakfast before departure. We will definitely be back!!
