”My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in July and I have to say that the golf course is absolutely beautiful! So well looked after! The hotel is dated but it is 50 years old, we stayed in a superior suite and it definitely was not worth the rate that we paid because it is dated. I'm afraid the housekeeping was terrible, the bed wasn't properly made and the bins were not emptied on 2 of the days and no attempt at actually tidying the suite.”

”We had the attic room and it's very spacious. The bedroom has a huge bed that is not too soft and we slept like the dead. Dual aspect with sky lights. Fan and extra soft cuddly blankets if needed. Hairdryer, ironing board, iron and microwave. However, the fridge was the reason I booked. A seating area where you can chill without a TV on and a small book shelf with a wide variety of books. ”The room was great, the staff very friendly but what was outstanding was the food, what a surprise it was, pub food is normally quite boring in my opinion but this was anything but. Pork belly mash and the most delicious red cabbage I've ever had and I've travelled a lot and eaten a lot in my travels, this was up there with the best. ”
