”I booked this place for two top reasons; The fact it was out in the country with a river view And because it had a hot tub on the deck I was disheartened that the hot tub was not functioning. I reached out to the property owner( right next door) and she said she knew nothing about the hot tub, but her husband did. I then reached out to the property manager- left a message and sent a text- never got a reply. I loved the done house itself. And the view was amazing!!!”

”This is an absolutely stunning place to stay! We were looking for a peaceful place to stay for the night so I could prepare for spinal surgery the next day and this was perfect. The host was very polite as well! We spent most of our time just relaxing in the private hot tub and enjoying the sounds from the little creek that runs in front. ”My wife and I enjoyed a weekend stay at Twisted River Ranch, during a visit of the local covered bridges and the downtown Eugene area. The cottage was charming, but the real star of the visit was the beautiful farm with gorgeous pond , gardens,barns, pastures and extensive wildlife. A visit highlight was sitting by the pond early Sunday morning, so peaceful. The proprietor, Dianne was a pleasure to visit with and was very attentive in assuring that any needs were met. ”Loved the decor... the porch... the sunroom... the spacious feel for a small house... loved how well stocked it was... comfortable beds.... the welcoming touches. The river was across the highway, not on the property. Arrive in the daylight to manage the driveway for the first time. The cones and communication from the host were very helpful.”

”We loved this place!! Like someone else said in another review, sitting on the porch feels like you're sitting right over the water. It was so comfortable, very straightforward to get checked in, and there was even spare coffee for us to enjoy in the morning. Right as we were leaving we saw a bald eagle battling with a duck on the river, maybe fifty yards from the patio. This was a remarkable place to stay!”

”The kitchen was nice and updated. The beds were uncomfortable and the sheets were not great quality. The sofa is "hard as a rock." Overall, it was a fine stay. Wouldn't seek it out for a second stay.”

”This house was perfect for our needs. The only thing I would not is the common room did not have the futon beds mentioned in the listing. It didn’t bother us as we didn’t need the extra sleeping space. Loved having two living rooms so the teens could play in one while the adults rested in the other. Kitchen was well stocked. Would 100% stay again.”

”My family and I stayed in this home for 2 nights. The home was clean, but in need of repair; there several places in the home where upkeep had not been done (walls were patched but not painted, primary bedroom door jam was loose, etc.). The pictures do not indicate that there are only 2 chairs (and a bench) in the living room and no dining room table. For a home that sleeps 6, there was not adequate seating or a place to sit and eat other than the outside patio (that had not been cleaned)....

”Our week stay on the McKenzie river in this lovely, very comfortable guest home ( king bed and pillows and linens were very nice!) was terrific! Tom was a fun host and the access to the river is an easy quick walk or drive. We loved all of the windows and the deck with new grill, and all of the nature surrounding us! Thanks again for having us!”
