”Exactly what I needed for my stint in Chicago - a clean bed, good shower and a safe place to leave my car. The only issue was check out - at 11, but my room card stopped working at 930. But I was allowed back in easy enough. Thank you!!”
”Not a great stay, unfortunately. While the location is nice, the hotel looks a bit dated - the full-floor carpeting or something else causes the place to smell mouldy. My shower only had one mode, which was a hard spray, and my toilet clogged up twice in a 3 day stay.”
”This place is just FUN! The decor and vibe are just right for the neighborhood and made our visit to tour Northwestern University completely delightful. It is super close to downtown and also just a short (less than 5 minutes) walk to Northwestern. The staff are wonderful and the property is historically beautiful.
NOT handicapped accessible: lots of weird steps up/steps down in lobby, SMALL elevator (seems like it might have been the dumb waiter in a former life). Clean rooms and common areas,...
”This B&B is absolutely worth visiting due to the breakfast. If you are tired of those standard hotel breakfasts visit this place and you'll be happy. Rooms are rather normal and the general spaces are full of "collector's" stuff, don't let that disturb you (ok the weightlifter statue might get the cr** out of you if you stay in the room next to that) .. breakfast is the thing why you come here (you'll get a 5* breakfast in this place). Staff is extremely nice (enjoyed discussing with them a lot)...

”We liked it was a short distance to the L train station to go into Chicago. Great food and shopping all around. Very nice accommodations, beds are comfortable. A nice warm chocolate chip cookie was given when we checked in too, a nice surprise. We would stay here again. ”
”The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. The one suggestion I have would be to install some water bottle filling stations.(like Elkay). A lot of people myself included trying to fill our water bottles from the glass cooler is by the front desk. Kind of a sanitation problem because the mouth of everyone’s bottle is touching the faucet.”
