Newly Remodeled Classic Old Leavenworth Home in the heart of town

Sunny old traditional home in lovely old Leavenworth. Renovated in 2022, home is within walking distance to historic downtown Leavenworth. The front porch and back deck make a lovely place to enjoy good weather. Full access to house is provided., including front porch and back desk. The basement is inaccessible to guests. There is front street parking or a single gravel spot in back.

Two bedrooms are located on second floor of home with a full bath. A half bath is located on the main floor. Spacious living room and functional kitchen, with full size refrigerator, gas stove and microwave. WiFi is provided for convenience of staying connected with family and friends. With old homes, uneven floors are common and add charm to this home. Could cause vertigo sensations if sensitive to sloping floors.

Home is located 11 miles from Weston, MO.

Not allowed are smoking, big gathering groups and parties.

The well-equipped and pristine home is ideal for well-behaved, responsible and considerate guests. We respect our neighbors and would like them to feel the same toward us. We want to show you the best that Leavenworth has to offer and can continue to do so if everybody is respectful.

Pros: bed were very comfortableCons in owners control: the whole place needed a good scrub.There were cobwebs in corners, showers and a musty smell permeating the home. There was no toilet paper in downstairs restroom. The rug in the living room should be replaced. Nothing was well labeled, we were unsure how to work the air conditioning. Received no check out instructions so going to assume it was fine? Cons out of owners control: VERY loud street and VERY loud dogs. The street parking was minimal and also slightly dangerous. It's an old home so the temperature fluctuated.

Nice place

Nice place to stay. Traffic over the hill was a bit sketchy at times, just be cautious exiting vehicle. Beds were comfy and everything you could need was available. A little more adjustment on the AC would have been nice as it did get a bit warm upstairs. Overall a great place and wouldn’t hesitate staying there again.

Overall, this nicely remodeled home is very cozy and inviting. The owners put a lot of thought into the little things like noise machines and earplugs in the night stand and made sure there were plenty of towels etc. The only area that needs improvement is the WIFI situation, which someone had noted previously. The WIFI did not work when I checked in and never worked throughout the four-night stay. Notified the manager immediately upon check-in and went back and forth for a couple of days, and then the manager offered to come by and try and fix it. Never showed up or contacted me after saying they were going to show. T-Mobile hotspots are not a good idea, especially for a rental. There is a reason they are economical. The TV works off the internet, which is a problem because without internet you don't have a TV. I had to use my data plan and hotspot for work and the TV my entire stay. My recommendation would be to get rid of the T-Mobile hotspot and get something more reliable, especially at this price in Leavenworth. If you advertise WIFI you should have WIFI, especially when people work remotely. This review is not meant to push people way from this property because I really liked it, but I would make sure the WIFI situation is corrected if that is something that you need.

Perfect for our family of six

This is the second time staying and it was just as good. It’s much better than a hotel and plenty of room to relax before heading out for the day or after spending the day away. Kitchen has plenty of appliances and the bath and a half makes getting ready convenient.

Great option in Leavenworth

I'm from Leavenworth, so ice stayed in several options recently. This is a great one if you're looking to splurge a bit. Bedrooms were a great size, bathrooms were great, kitchen was well stocked. Highly recommend.

This place is so darling! It’s located in the middle of everything, it’s beautifully decorated and well built, the beds are very comfortable and the master has The Best Blanket ever! Getting in was easy and it was sparkling clean. We couldn’t have asked for more!!!!

Leavenworth Trip

This was a wonderful place to stay. It fit our needs perfectly. We were there for a wedding in Weston, MO, and so we picked this location due to the proximity to the venue. The home was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. I can’t really call it a complaint, but there wasn’t any information regarding check-in and check-out as far as what we needed to do to prep or clean the place afterwards, so hopefully everything is in order. We would’ve taken out the trash, but I couldn’t find an outdoor dumpster. Otherwise, I have no real complaints. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

We stayed over the weekend while visiting family. The house is in an area that is being brought back to life. Newly remodeled houses spread throughout the area. This house did not disappoint. It slept our 6 comfortably and everything was very clean. The age of the house adds charm. We will book again.

Absolutely Gorgeous

The home is in a nice quiet neighborhood, decorated beautifully and very comfortable. The back patio is nicely furnished as well. One thing I absolutely loved were the black towels designated for makeup removal. Genius. This house feels very homey while still being modern. The suggestion I have is the windows need curtains or shades on the lower level. The living room faces a busy street and the back of the house faces numerous homes. There’s no privacy. I would also add some sort of covering for the shower window. It May be okay for the fellas, but women not so much if you get my drift. The steps are steep so keep that in mind if you have little ones or anyone who may have trouble navigating stairs. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. Close to restaurants and shopping.

Had a fun couples getaway…clean, recently remodeled house. Neighboring houses are close … but the inside of the house is really nice. Beds were comfortable towels and toiletries were great. All the appliances were new.

Nice remodeled house

Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this house. It was clean and nicely remodeled, with comfortable beds. Our only issue was that the keypad didn't work for us either day when we got to the house, and we had to call the owner to come open it. We also would have appreciated window coverings on the living room, since we were using the sofa bed there. Hopefully, these are things which will be fixed when the house has been listed longer.

Girls Weekend

We really enjoyed the house. It was very cute, clean & updated. The rooms were plenty big & the beds very comfy. The yard did need to be mowed, so at first glance it took away from the appeal. We could not find any instructions for check out, so we weren't exactly sure what was expected but tried to clean up as we would have at any other places we have stayed. Overall, we loved the house & would stay again!!

Cute and Clean, would highly recommend!

My family and 2 young children stayed the weekend and loved this house. So cute and decorated so nicely. They have everything in the kitchen you might need in order to make a meal as well as a keurig machine with coffee. We enjoyed seeing Kansas City as well as the small towns of Leavenworth and Weston during our stay. Would highly recommend!
