”The Yankee Inn was a convenient and affordable option for our visit to Tanglewood. The check-in staff was friendly and advised us of breakfast and checkout hours. The room was clean and thankfully well air conditioned during our stay there in 90 degree weather! The included breakfast was typical fare: eggs, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, bread/pastries, etc. As we were there for only one night, we did not take advantage of the outdoor pool or fire pit, but both appeared to be clean and well...

”Would not stay there again, management keyed another individual to our room and gave access to it not 10 minute after we checked in. When called to rectify the situation blew it of to a simple mistake and never really apologized for it. Although the room was listed as non smoking the smell of old smoke could still be smelled in the room. I have stay Econolodges before and they have not been bad! This one should be looked at by corporate.”

”Room smelled awful and the blanket was so dated. We ended up driving home 1 1/2 hours rather than stay the night. Very sleazy.”

”The phone number for the motel was disconnected. We could not contact the motel. The bathroom was so small even a slender person has to bend and twist to try to shut the door. There was no hairdryer. The sounds of the Thruway required earplugs. They knew we were coming, they could've turned on the AC so that it had fresh air. Although, obviously, great attempts were made to make it cozy and comfortable, it is not suitable for some people.”

”Unfortunately the power went out around 10 pm and never came back on by the time we left at 7 am. We tried reaching out to staff at the Red Lion, the parent company of the Little Lion. No one picked up the phone nor responded to our message. We had no power, no lights, no water, no A/C. Other than not being able to get a hold of staff our stay was very good.”

”The room we had was spacious, and there are nice outdoor sitting areas. Breakfast is placed in your refrigerator and in a basket the day before. If you are hoping for a charming Berkshire bed and breakfast with a cooked breakfast and interaction with your host, you will be disappointed. If you are satisfied with an unusually nice motel, you will be very happy."”

”Staff”

”Pictures on the internet made it appear to be an Inn. It was actually a motel just above route 7. Tricky taking a left onto a 4 lane highway to get to Lenox but doable. Room was clean, air conditioned, comfortable and great staff. Few minor issues: 1. Bathroom fan didn't work and one of the charge ports on the shared bedside table was dead. I would recommend if all the cute Inns in Lenox are full.”

”ok for a night. coffee maker didn't work, ac so so and the breakfast minimal. nearby breakfast joint sucked. will not stay again.”

”Great location for the historic District and walkable to Tanglewood. Coffee machine, and water dispenser available 24 hours lots of little spaces to sit and relax.”

”We enjoyed our visit to the Inn. It was close to all the events, Tanglewood, and destinations, hiking and waterfall, we wanted to explore.”
