The Caminanti aren’t just people who walk a lot—as the grandmothers of Salento affectionately called those grandchildren who preferred the open road to the tranquility of home—but rather those who love to lose themselves in travel and in getting to know others. Our guesthouse was born from this brief and simple idea, the product of fascinating and paradoxical stories. Just like a living being, we’ve grown in stages, drawing inspiration from what our travelers have shared with us. A vacation home in the historic center of Lecce, just a few meters from Porta Rudiae, consisting of: an entryway/living room with a table, 2 double bedrooms, a light-filled relaxation area accessible independently from both bedrooms, a kitchen, a half-bath with a shower, and a full bathroom with a toilet, bidet, and sink. From the half-bath, there is an exterior entrance to the staircase leading to the terrace, which is shared with the adjacent vacation home, owned by the same proprietor.
