I would not return here. Very untidy. Not sure sheets were changed. No one at the reception when I checked in but rang the telephone numbers that was provided but no one responded. Was standing there for ages. Very pathetic.

The toilet seat was broken. My husband fixed that for a while until it broke again. The bathroom door wouldn’t close. Apart from that it was average.

Absolutely terrible. We booked a twin room, but we were told that this was not available. The room and bathroom had not been cleaned properly...even the cups still had stains on them. When I read the review it mentioned views of the countryside...but outside of the property is littered with black bins bags of rubbish and old bits of furniture. Absolute disgrace.

This is an old Travelodge so the internal layout and style of the rooms is as expected. Location is good (for me) and if you are travelling North there is a cafe 1-1/2 mile up the A46.

I understand you get what you pay for but even so as you walk in to the hotel you are hit by a horrible damp musty smell.The walls and carpets are filthy I tried to complain by ringing customer service as the front desk is mostly unmanned but they couldn’t even find me on there system even when I provided my name and the customer number they provided me as I was working nights when I stayed there I ended up just putting the phone down as customer service were just beating around the bush I wouldn’t stay here again the bed mattress just sinks and offers no support.

Horrendous
It was a very terrible experience and I wouldn’t advice anyone to stay there. Customer service was horrible. Everything thing about the hotel was distasteful

Overall, I had a good stay. Very comfortable clean room and bathroom The bed was 1st class but two big issues for me. There was no air-conditioning or even a fan . That made a difference because the weather was hot. Secondly no restaurant or bar, although thete is one next door but only Asian food so i had to drive about 15 minutes into town to buy food

An awful nights sleep
Stopped here as it was near a wedding we were attending. I wasn't after anything fancy, just somewhere to get our heads down. The whole place had a damp smell. The room was sort of clean, but there was hair on the wall of the shower and in the plug hole. Slight damp smell in the bathroom. The room was at the back so the traffic noise from the A46 wasn't too bad. No a/c, the weather was hot (end of June) which made the room uncomfortable. There was a wall heater in the room which we didn't use but looked disgusting (see pic). The worst thing about it was the horrific mattress. It was one of those cheap foam jobs. You simply sank into it and it gave no support at all. It sank so bad that the GF and myself tended to roll into the middle together. Bloomin awful, and I kept waking up feeling hot and uncomfortable. Totally unacceptable as a hotel mattress, I'd have probably slept better on the floor. On the plus side the guy at reception was plesant and he let us check-in an hour early as we would be back late. The reception is unmanned overnight. I wouldn't return. In fact I'd probably avoid all the OYO hotels based on this stay.

Great price, budget friendly, enjoyed our stay.
A great place to stay if you're on a budget and want a couple nights stay somewhere. Cant complain at all at the price we paid. Everything you need facilities wise and we enjoyed our stay. Decor and overall appearance could do with a little update and a bit of TLC here and there.

Property was in quite a convenient location, but the age of the property and lack of investment this hotel shouldn’t really be operating. The beds had collapsed and I spent the night sleeping in a deep hole on my back, the bathroom was probably the worst example I’ve seen. The whole hotel smelt of severance and there was no parking outside due to the bar next door customers taking up spaces for the hotel.
