âI arrived just before 6pm to find my room wasnât ready, so I waited in the bar. When I finally got in, the room was okay but lacked basic inâroom amenitiesâthere were no cups or kettle, as these are kept in a separate kitchen, which was sparsely stocked. Although I knew the bathroom was shared, I was surprised there was no sink in the room. There were also cobwebs that hadnât been cleaned, and the door didnât feel secure; it kept banging in the wind overnight until I wedged it shut. Breakfast...
