”While it is an older property, it’s well maintained and very clean and quiet. Perfect for one night. Wish they would upgrade mattresses but honestly, that was the only downfall.”

”Great staff, great location, very clean. If you are doing a short stay (1-2 nights) it’s good. However I wouldn’t want to stay for a long time (longer than a night or two) the bed wasn’t comfortable at all and they don’t have black our shades so if you have trouble sleeping with light coming in you’ll have a hard time here. Good for a short stay, not ideal for a week or more.”

”Super welcoming and clean”

”Garbage piled up outside and all over the parking lot. Bed sheets had marks and stains on them. Floors were gross. TV was jacked up and oldish, stuck on 1 volume setting (loud) cause remote didnt work. Get what you pay for i guess. Never again.”

”Found the room had a terrible smell, reception claimed it was the cleaning products. Smelled as bad the next day as it did when we arrived. Open Windows did not help at all”

”The room was okay, but the bathroom was very dirty; the shower curtain had never been changed, and the towels had a dirty stain on them. The pool is very nice.”

”The bed this time was more comfortable than the last time I stayed there when the mattress was too hard for my back.”

”Typical Jersey Motel the smell, the look, the size. I guess if you compare prices it’s an ok price but definitely not worth the price for that room. 10 minutes from Point Pleasant I guess if you have no other choice.”

”The captains cottage was a super nice place with great staff and close to a great restaurant and bar. My wife and I enjoyed our stay!!!!”

”Dirt everywhere, food scraps stuck to the floor, dead bugs, stained bedding. Left an hour after checkin”

”Overall the room was ok for a night stay but the blankets it so smelled like a mold or something weird,bathroom clean but no toilet paper just a little bit a less lived a new one.”

”WARNING DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL OR ALLOW THEM TO RECEIVE ANY MORE BUSINESS THEY ARE SCAMMERS IF YOU BOOK HERE YOU WILL BE SCAMMED!!!! They advertise their rooms on Expedia with fake pictures when I got there in person the rooms looked nothing like the pictures at all the rooms were so small I could extend my arms and touch both sides the bed took up the whole room the doors were broken and it smelled like urine and the manager and front desk lady refused to give me my money back as I had to check...

”Had a amazing time the the staff was very helpful and nice. The hotel was a 2 min walk from the boardwalk. Will definitely be back!”
