Do NOT rent this property. We booked it for Nov 25–30, 2025 for Thanksgiving and my son’s birthday, but the home was filthy the moment we arrived. What should have been a special week quickly turned into a nightmare. We found hair balls on the floors, dirty rugs, dirt behind the toilet, an unstable squeaky bed, a broken dining chair, unswept floors, mismatched utensils, filthy oven and microwave, mud in the kids’ rug, and an unsanitary kids’ bathroom. The casita was also dirty. Microwave placed on top of a range oven. Bathroom and shower curtain filthy. The entire house gave the impression that someone had just stayed there and only the beds were quickly made.When we sent photos, the host made excuses and only apologized for the broken chair. She told us we could get a refund only if we left immediately, even though our kids were sleeping. We left within the hour as instructed then she refused the refund once we contacted VRBO. (stayed10 hrs).VRBO was no help and told us to return to the home, even though the host forced us out. We lost almost 3,000 plus last-minute lodging costs.This property is misleading, dirty, and poorly managed. Please avoid this listing. We have photos and messages to prove everything. A legal claim is in progress.
