The space
Cottage is newly offered for vacation rental. It was the former full-time residence for 20 years of Nocoart villa's owner and artist. Classic Caribbean design. Ideal for a couple. Wraparound screen porch with two Adirondack chairs sit astride entrance for chilling, after day at the beach; dining table on right porch with six Paris bistro chairs for dinner guests; armoire on left porch for shoes, beach stuff. Enter main door of cottage to cathedral ceiling living room. Corner on right has built-in desk workspace to stay connected with high speed optic fiber-fed WiFi. Spacious main seating area with leather couch, upholstered arm chairs, coffee table. Leads into gourmet kitchen with built-in bar and high-back chairs. To left, bathroom with mosaic-tiled shower, wash basin. Stairs off living room to bedroom on second floor. King bed with side tables, custom built by local woodworker. Luxurious, super-comfortable mattress. Dresser and clothing hangar racks on one side of room, desk and chair on other side. Original paintings and drawings by owner and other island artists adorn wall space throughout the cottage. Guests have access (20 meters via garden path) to the villa's lovely pool with chaise lounges and chairs. Ample parking.
Guest access
Two steps up to wraparound screen porch. From there all on one level except bedroom on second floor. There is stone path from parking area to cottage.
