Wow so much to say about this place. It was amazing the views were fabulous, the rainbow cafe next door was amazing and the daily usage of the chairs was incredible. The food is to die for in Grand Case and would highly suggest Java and the Villa. We had no car and an amazing cab driver Smitty who took us to Orient. Extremely responsive owner and wonderful place loved every minute of this trip

Highlights: - This property is in an absolute PERFECT location - easy access to the beach, beach chairs/umbrellas, and food/beverage. - The balcony (we stayed on the 3rd floor) that overlooks the ocean is a perfect place to soak in all of the beauty of Grand Case! The 3 beds, 3 full baths, was perfect for our family, as we each had separate space! Bedrooms are spacious and in separate locations of the house.- Breakfast was included with the stay (at restaurant next door). The food here is absolutely delicious, with good size portions, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere.- You can’t beat the location of this property, with easy access to many of the popular restaurants and local business - minutes away (by foot) from the pier and the LoLo’s.Finally, Christophe & Luna were responsive and extremely efficient with details regarding our stay. They were the best!Items for Consideration: - This property is next to the Rainbow Cafe - and while the food here is amazing (especially the brioche French toast), they do play music on the weekends! Our children (early 20’s) enjoyed it - I honestly slept through it!- Speaking of sleeping, I would recommend adding a couple more pillows to the beds - the two king size were fine, but between my husband and myself, but 1-2 more would have been perfect!Overall, this property and this stay is 10/10!!! Highly Recommend!

We had the unfortunate experience of visiting the property during a period of heavy rain. There were some leaks in the ceiling, power outages, and elevator issues. After many attempts to get some assistance from the property manager without any success, we contacted the VRBO customer support line and were met with compassion, understanding, and results. Pure paradise

Based on the listing we couldn’t wait to get to the property and despite that the stay far exceeded our expectations. The beachfront location, free use beach chairs/umbrellas, included breakfast at Frenchy’s next door and short walk to all of Grd Case’s great restaurants really made this an amazing stay. Christian’s service was also outstanding. We can’t wait to go back.

Excellent Caribbean Family Trip

Grand Calypso was a beautiful house in a great location in Grand Case. The view was awesome worth every penny. There was everything you could need in the place, plenty of kitchen supplies, great air conditioning and comfortable beds. The location is busy and bustling with great bars, restaurants and lots of shopping. The music is loud for sure on Saturday and Sunday nights but we knew that going in. It didn’t both is too much. The breakfast at Captain Frenchys was also great every morning and they have awesome staff. The beach chairs being included were super nice to have. We would definitely recommend and book again.

Great place to stay and great location. Only downside is hiw loud the music played from a place behind the pizza restaurant until after 2:00 AM on Tuesday, Wednesday and approximately 3:30 AM. Friday evening. We were able to get a good sleep on Thursday as they were closed. We were aware that Rainbow Cafe and Frenchys would be loud but they were not a problem at all. Loved the unit fantastic owner & view.I think if you are late night people its all good.

Awesome place on Grand Case

My family of five and my son's girlfriend stayed at Calypso and had a great time! Christophe was very communicative and we had everything we needed. It is definitely loud at night - one night The Rainbow Cafe had music going until 2:30a - so I’d suggest bringing earplugs. Captain Frenchys downstairs had great food, chairs and the service was wonderful (Theo took care of us all week). Thanks for a great visit!

Great apartment, close to bars

This is a great spot and Christophe was very helpful and responsive. My wife and I have stayed in Calypso once before so we knew what to expect. The location is excellent but on Friday Saturday and Sunday it can be loud until 23hrs. We rent a car and the parking spot was very nice because Rue de Grande Case is often hard to find places to park on the street, especially on weekends.

Amazing getaway

My family recently stayed at this property and had the best time. We are repeat customers and would recommend this place to anyone. The property is located on one of the best beaches in St. Martin, within walking distance to many restaurants in Grand Case and couldn't be more convenient. The apartment is very clean and has everything that you might need during your stay. Christophe was always available and very accommodating.

We didn't want to leave!

We had a wonderful time in Grad Case! The apartment has fantastic views and Captain Frenchy's is right next door! Luna nd Chris were easy to communicate with. Lots of restaurant options in walking distance. Easy access directly to the beach and awesome sunsets! Look forward to going back!

Breathtaking

We just got home from 5 day stay in Grand Case. This VBRO property is just perfect. From the second you walk in the breathtaking views are unforgettable. The villa was clean and efficient, kitchen fully stocked, microwave, coffee maker, stove and washer/dryer. There are beach towels and even body wash, hand soap and all the basics you will need. The hosts are very accommodating and I can't say enough about what an incredible stay we had. It is nosy at night till about midnight, Grand Case does not go to bed early...but neither do we! Great music, shopping, food and easily walkable everywhere. I would definitely recommend this property, there were 7 of us and it worked perfectly. Thank you Cristophe and Luna for everything!!!!

Absolutely Beautiful and spotless clean two floor penthouse with front ocean views and direct beach accessibility. So comfortable, walking distance to shops, stores, pharmacy and top restaurants. The house is in between two very lively bars so if you want peace and tranquility, this is not the place for you. We won’t stay anywhere else, this is officially our place, we do hope the owner will get a softer mattress before we come next time lol! Kids slept like angels though. Thank you for everything. Shout out to captain frenchies!

Really enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic. Walking distance to the wonderful restaurants of Grand Case. The terraces and views are outstanding and the apartment itself was really well laid out. The upstairs bedroom is pretty much a separate apartment with its own living room. Free breakfast and chair rentals at Captain Frenchy really worked out! Great beach bar! The beach itself was fun (lively and great people watching) and the swimming was wonderful. The music from Rainbow Cafe is there during the day (definitely NOT quiet) but it is quiet after about 11:30pm. I can’t wait to go back 😀!

AMAZING!

I came here with 2 of my friends for a girl’s trip and we were all astounded by this amazing property! Beautiful beach views, easy access to many restaurants and bars, breakfast at Frenchies, and tasteful beach decor are all selling features of this terrace! The property was very clean, we were greeted at the door to receive the key and shown around the property, and check-out was a breeze (minus the fact we didn’t want to leave). We would definitely return here and recommend to anyone looking for an amazing beachfront property in grand case!

Amazing location

Six of us stayed here over Christmas and New Years. We absolutely loved it. The condo is located right on the beach in the heart of Grand Case. Couldn’t be in a better spot. The restaurant next door, provides free breakfast and chairs. The only negative is the noise from the two adjoining bar/restaurants — they play loud music at night. But the trade off the location was worth it! The deck was amazing, and the rooms were spacious.

Amazing location in Gand Case

This beautifully decorated and appointed condo has everything you need for an incredible stay in Grand Case. The property managers were so kind and helped us with everything we need. You are situated right in the middle of night life. Captain Frenchies next door does play music later into the night on select nights. So, you will hear that sometimes until midnight. It’s right next door. However, you get free breakfast there every morning during your stay. If you don’t mind some music in the evening, this is the place for you. I will definitely be back! I can’t say enough great things about this place and the property managers. 5 stars all around!!!

Only issue is that we ran out of toilet paper. No soap provided in shower or wash rags. Not enough linens and bath towels. The electric went out several times and no water last night. Other than that the location is a dream to wake up and go to bed every night seeing the ocean. Can't beat the sunsets.

Gorgeous condo, lively neighborhood

The condo is just beautiful! Big open sliders to the ocean, spacious rooms, double bathroom sinks, a deck with table and lounges, all looking out on the ocean. It even has an elevator which can be handy at times since the stairs are generous spiral stairs. Christophe, the manager was delightful and a great communicator, so everything went smoothly. The location is right in the middle of the night life on Grande Case. There are two French bakeries within feet of the condo, a French pharmacy within view and of course all of the amazing restaurants up and down Grande Case. The beach is gorgeous and worthy of a daily walk. I thought the beach in front of our condo was going to be quiet with just a few chairs, but there must have been 30 or more chairs and umbrellas tightly lined up by 8am. It was packed. The music ……. This condo is located between Captain Frenchy’s Restaurant and the Rainbow Restaurant. They are both great places for drinks and food. The challenge for us was that they both blast out music, generally starting around 1pm and can go until 10 or 11pm, almost every night. If you like this sort of thing, you will love this location. It is a party scene and full of life. You can get drinks and food on the beach just below our patio. Sweet if you like that kind of thing. I knew there was a restaurant next door, but I was surprised just how evasive it was. There you go, your choice!
