”Location is about 1-2 miles away from the ocean so no "ocean view". We stayed a week prior to the "summer" season starting so parking was easy and close to your room. The rooms, grounds and amenities were extremely clean and well taken care of. Office staff were friendly and very helpful - tended to a small problem right away and very accommodating. Access to the highway and nearby stores was easy - but here again, a bit off-season, I would definitely stay there again.”

”If you hate beach sand under your toes this is not the place for you. Great location between Lewes and Rehoboth but not in heart of either. Decent breakfast buffet, room kept clean, lots of fresh towels. Quiet”

”Room could have been cleaned and maintained better. Bathroom sink didn’t drain properly and toilet paper roll holder was broken. The refrigerator leaked water onto the shelves. Bare feet, foot prints in the shower when we arrived. Manager not that concerned about deficiencies.”

”The bath towels stunk. Refrigerator wasn’t cleaned out. There was a pack of hot dogs left in the refrigerator.”

”Beach View is an older property, however the rooms and bathrooms have been updated with upscale fixtures and plush linens. The big plus is that the hotel is 1/2 block to the beach and only a short walk to Rehoboth Avenue (the main street that bisects the town and ends at the beach) and the boardwalk. There are many restaurants within a short walking distance, even a couple next door to the hotel. The hotel lobby has a couple of nice seating areas, as well as tables for breakfast. A nice touch...

”I liked the room and the location at the end of the boardwalk when it is so crowded. It felt very safe. I wish it included Roku TV so I could log onto Netflix and other streaming services.”
