This was our first time in Lexington. This a gorgeous hotel! The front desk staff, servers, food, room, and location were perfect. We loved our stay so much we want to come back. It even snowed and made the hotel magical. Elizabeth and Trace were our servers for brunch and dinner, respectively. They were kind, helpful, and sweet. They are an asset to Elwood. The chef must be commended on his food. We enjoyed our french toast and eggs benedict with perfectly poached eggs. Then Trace even stayed to serve us our dinner when our event got out late. I devoured the chicken parmesan while my husband enjoyed the gnocchi bolognese. We also enjoye our key lime pie dessert. I wanted to try the gnocchi Sunday night but they didn't serve dinner. We went next door to Ravenhouse and missed Fiddletree so much! The room was very spacious, comfortable, clean, and I loved the mini fridge. It was large enough to store my custom cake. We have been world travelers for 30+ years and there's only one other hotel that reminds us of Elwood and it's in Savannah, GA. I love the charm and whimsical design throughout the hotel. The urban furniture and soaps added to the luxury of the space. Thank you for being the most unique and fabulous hotel in Lexington.
