”Upon arrival I could tell they are doing work on this property which is much needed. That’s a plus!
The downside, the staff were quite unprofessional sitting behind a front desk in rolling chairs while guests are standing behind a counter. It took them about 10 minutes to check in the person in front of me which seemed really long. The guest was frustrated by the lack of an elevator and asked for help with luggage which they declined. ”The hotel property and our room was looking run-down and shabby. It’s obvious that things like carpets, walls, trim, elevators, etc. have not been kept up. Our room smelled kind of musty, the carpets had stains, and there were some stains on the bathroom wall. The run-down nature of the hotel just makes it look not clean and not appealing. Some front desk staff are great - others are not very attentive and make you feel like it’s a chore to help you. There are no luggage carts to help haul stuff...
