”The owners Mandy and JP are amazing people and have built a little piece of paradise for all who wish to visit one of the most beautiful places on earth. The rooms were immaculate, the location outstanding, and they paid attention to every single detail to make sure that we slept well and were comfortable each and every day and night. We will absolutely be going back and encourage anybody interested in visiting Bocas to do the same.”

”Surfari was a great place to stay. The breakfast was really good and we slept well as there was not that much noises from the streets (sometimes heavy rain, barking dogs or a rooster crowning woke us up). The staff were really nice and helpful. Rooms were very basic, quite small, but clean and hot water in the shower was a great value. There were 2 kitchens where you can prepare your own meals with lots of kitchen equipments.”

”The pool is small, but great and refreshing. The staff are very nice from ground staff through to the owner. There is a space for a gym, but no actual gym, just some mats and a few light weights. The view from the gym is excellent though, monkeys and iguanas.”

”We stayed two nights at Colibri in February. The place is nicely designed, so that all the cabins have patios directly towards the sea. We had the second cabin counting from the beach, and the passing motorboats didn't disturb us at all, which might be the case with the last one. The bathrooms are nice and clean, and you get hot water. You have sun on the front patio till the mid afternoon and you can even have a swim from the last two cabins where the water is a bit deeper. ”I hate to give a bad review, but I have to. Our unit was sparsely outfitted. There were no furnishings for your cloths. Hangers on the walls for your clothes and used bath towels would be an improvement. The biggest problem was the bed! The sheet was dirty, the kind of dirt you do not want to see. Under the sheet was even worse. Bad. The housing approaching the lodge is challenged. Depressing in some instances. It smells on some days. Some days there is trash floating in the water. ”Traveled in late Feb. ‘26. We stayed 1 night in Bocas Then traveled to outer islands. Clean room, location is good just a block to be on a Main Street for restaurants, bars & shopping. There is a wide balcony overlooking the street. Tables, chairs, ceiling fans. We played cards had some beers. The air conditioning works great. Beds were firm. Staff was helpful. I would stay again. ”
