”Hotelli oli siisti ja palvelu hyvää. Aamiainen oli hyvä ja melko monipuolinen. Huone oli hieman pieni, mutta viihtyisä. Hotelli sijaitsee kävelymatkan päässä sekä Windermerestä että Bownessista.”
”Our room was two flights up and had a good view. The shower and hairdryer were poor on power and effectiveness but we did have a lovely bath after a long walk. The bed was a little uncomfortable and a bit stale smelling but roomy and light. Breakfast was 8:30-9:30 which was late for walkers trying to get an early start, but they do take away lunches. A mixed bag overall but we paid £136 for a double room and expected more for the price.”
”Spent one night in the hotel. The hotel is situated by a lake and the surroundings are pretty. We were pleasantly surprised when we got upgrated for a better room. The room was AMAZING: big, clean, had a luxury feel to it and lovely view to the lake. The cooked breakfast was tasty and staff friendly. Only downside was that there was no dinner served. Would love to stay in this hotel again :)”

”Staff were lovely unfortunately everything else wasn’t. Very noisy with the aircon or whatever it was outside the window. The shower door was hard to open and close. Needed a good clean in the room. Was very expensive for what it was. Pillows were awful. Won’t be going back.”
”Hyvällä & rauhallisella sijainnilla oleva perinteinen B&B-tyyppinen majoitus. Kävelymatkan päässä rautatieasemalta ja aivan Windermeren kahviloiden&kauppojen tuntumassa.
Majatalon emäntä Jo on ystävällinen ja aamiainen on runsas ja maukas.
Huoneessamme oli isot ikkunat talon edessä olevaan puistoon. Huoneessa olevat WC/pesutilat ovat liukuovet takana ja suht simppelit, mutta riittävät.
