”Very nice place. Well maintained with a lovely hot tub. Good bar on site. We had some issues checking in and can only assume that was down to Expedia (we did not get key code which caused some issues). Would return.”

”Perfect location for the beautiful northern lakes and pennines. Yew Tree Cottage is as shown, beautifully furnished, comfortable, as were the beds and bedding, inc great pillows. Welcome pack of tea coffee milk and delicious home made blueberry muffins. The one thing we needed assistance with the owners were very responsive and resolved that same afternoon (on a BH weekend). ”This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all...
