”A pet friendly hotel with friendly staffunder recent new ownership. Staff friendly and approachable. Room 8 clean but a problem with the bathroom light switch which staff knew about. I will revisit if in the area again. ”

”Thank you June and Mark for a lovely stay at Little Beeches. We felt welcomed from the start. The home is tasteful and homely. While some holiday rentals can feel sparse and functional, in contrast it is obvious that a lot of thought and care has been put into making the cottage feel like a home. The kitchen is well stocked with decent cookware and crockery making cooking easy and pleasant. Having use of a washer and dryer was a huge help. The entire property was spotless. ”The good points are that the room was clean and hotel central. The bad points are that the hotel is very run down and nothing like the website photos. The furniture is old and cheap. The mattresses so soft they offer no support. The facilities are minimal. Staff sullen and grudging. Avoid as much better hotels & inns available. ”

”Clean, decent shower with high pressure, bed is decent. Minimal rooms with no desks, can be loud but didn’t bother me No parking ”

”The bathroom had mold. The ceiling tiles are broken. The room really needs a refurb. The main door is broken and sometimes doesn't open or opens very slowly. I've stayed at much better maintained premier inns in the past so this was a huge disappointment.”

”I'm afraid that we're extremely disappointed with the state if this property. It smells of damp and water ingress everywhere, with stains and skirting hanging off, there's an overpowering smell and generally uncleandownstairs bedroom. I'm not sure how you can charge for this. ”

”Staff were lovely and welcoming even with a self check in! Came to make sure we had a travel cot and high chair for our baby as we didn’t specify age of our youngest child! Lovely sight we can’t wait to go back ”

”The room wasn’t bad, and nothing was inherently bad. It was relatively clean. Although, the bath panel was off, the room smelt damp, there was no hot water, the bath mat was mouldy. ”

”Excellent staff fantastic chef food was brilliant and plenty of it. Room was very warm and cozy we would recommend it to everyone. Lovely welcome and the lady that served us breakfast was amazing made you feel very welcome. See you soon again Parking free which helped.”

”It was a nice place and clean until we pulled the sofa bed out and it was dirty, a quick hover wouldn't have done it any harm. Overall its a nice place to stay, we did try and phone the numbers given to inform of the condition of the sofa bed however not one number was answered, we ended up getting the caretaker, who was 100% helpful”

”Room was not the room that I paid for. I asked for a quadruple and was given a triple but was still charged for the quadruple. ”
