  • Charming old house, fully restored, very spacious with 300m2 of area, on the 1st floor of an 18th-century building. Interiors furnished with some period furniture, hall and corridors with marbled walls, ceilings and 300-year-old wooden floors. Exclusive access for guests to a magnificent garden of Mediterranean and tropical plants with a fish pond and a private swimming pool. Central heating from 1930, meticulously restored to enjoy the winter, with all the comfort and ambient warmth.
    Large swimming pool, 16 meters long, excellent for swimming practice.
    Located in the historic area of Belém, Museum Quarter, and a 15-minute tram ride from the city center.
    For those coming to Lisbon for business or work, Junqueira Gardens is a 10-minute walk from the Lisbon Congress Center.

Delightful apartment, garden and pool. Great location with easy travel by tram to other parts of Lisbon. The host was very helpful, suggesting some great restaurants. The apartment itself is huge and very cool in the Summer. I would definitely recommend!

The house, located in Belem, provides a great base to explore all the many aspects of Lisbon. Access to centre is easy by tam or Uber and Belem offers great restaurants, historic places of interest and the house is a tranquil oasis…. Great for swimming, BBQ’s or simply relaxing away from the hubbub of the City. Ricardo is a great his…. offering local, insights and advice. The house itself is a quickly reflection of Lisbon’s history and offers all you need for a great visit to a great city. We will certainly visit again.

This place is huge. We booked for a family wedding, that included a 5 month old baby. The rooms were a great temperature, and the breeze was fabulous.We were able to get ready for the wedding with hair and makeup - lots of room. The hosts were thoughtful and fabulous, made travelling with the baby very easy. I would highly recommend it.

Ricardo and Leorna were excellent hosts. They have a wonderful family and the Flat is lovely .The location is perfect to walk toBalem, tram or to the MAAT. We enjoyed a few private tours of LisbonAnd the best food!!!I look forward to returning .

Perfect property for a group. Plenty of room, privacy and everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The family was super responsive and gave great recommendations. Easy to get to Old Town Lisbon from Belém and lots to do right near the apartment.

Very stylish apartment

The apartment is big and very stylish, perfect to get an insight into Portuguese life style. The pool is just amazing. And the hosts are very welcoming!

A beautiful space

We loved our time here! We enjoyed the Belem location and appreciated the kindness of the hosts. It was nice to be in a more relaxed area of Lisbon. We relaxed in the courtyard and used the pool. We were a group of 6 and had plenty of space. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Our fantastic holiday in Lisbon

Our stay at Junqueira Gardens, was truly amazing, lots to see and do with attractions right on the doorstep. The property comfortably accommodated our party of 8 and was very traditionally finished. The pool was brilliant and our hosts Ricardo and Leanor were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definately recommend this property!

We loved the home and the Host, Ricardo and his son Antonio were available at any time. We checked into the house at 10.30pm and Antonio was there to show us around and point out everything about the home.There was 7 adults and we had more than enough space.we loved the garden and the pool and had breakfast and evening cocktails out there every day. I would happily recommend the home to anyone looking to stay close to Lisbon.Thanks again for a wonderful week.Michelle and Family.

Wonderful stay!

We spent two weeks at the property using it as our base to explore Lisbon and the surrounding area. We loved every minute of it. Ricardo gave us helpful local restaurant recommendations and ideas for local sights. We really felt like locals by the end. It’s really convenient to get around. We loved the pool, eating dinner in the garden or on the terrace and generally hanging out. We’ll definitely be booking again.

Spacious and Gracious

We took a girls trip to Lisboa for my birthday and staying here was a wonderful experience. We each had our own bedroom and the rental is extremely spacious. Wonderful garden backyard and a lap pool for relaxing. The location was perfect for wandering the river town of Belem with lots of sites to see. The hosts were more than gracious and made sure that we were safe and that we had everything we needed. Thank you for our stay!

Lisbon at its best!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Junqueira Gardens. The property and gardens are lovely, plus Ricardo and his family were always available to help us with anything we needed. The location of the property was ideal, a short walk from many great restaurants and historical sites. We always felt very safe in this area and enjoyed the friendliness of the locals. We would certainly recommend this property to anyone who wanted to enjoy a real Portugese experience! Many thanks, Betsy

Belem Gem

This is a wonderful space, a lovingly restored house. The pool and courtyard are an oasis, especially on scorching August days (and the house stays quite cool). Even as two families totaling 7 people (three teens, 4 adults) we had so much room. Great neighborhood, near monastery, museums, grocery store, and public transit. Helpful hosts!

Amazing!

Quirky, full of character and charm. Do not hesitate to stay here, this apartment has been lovingly restored in keeping with its age and has a warmth and personality that is unique. The pool and garden are a mini paradise and extremely private. Edwardo and Leonora are lovely people who are discreet and leave you to yourselves yet are there should you need some information. Would stay here again in the blink of an eye.

Genuine Portuguese experience

Stayed at this property while in town for a work conference. The Congress Center is a close walk, which was perfect for us. You will need Uber, bus or trolley to get into Lisbon for a lot of sight seeing. The flat is laid out in genuine Portuguese style as our hosts explained. There was a lot of space. The garden is lovely. The hosts are delightful and full of great recommendations.

A Gem in the Heart of Belem

Our family originally chose this house in Belem because it was away from the busy downtown of Lisbon and we were traveling with two small children. We also like staying in local neighborhoods when we travel. The house itself provided a comfortable place for our party of six. We had everything we needed to make us feel comfortable. The location is great. You are steps away from some great restaurants, the hop on hop off bus, parks for the kids, the river walk and public transportation. Our host and hostess, Ricardo and Leanora were right upstairs and a phone call away. We really enjoyed our vacation. We all fell in love with Portugal and it's people.

Excellent hosts, house, location!

Our family of 5 (boys age 12 & daughter age 7) had a fantastic stay in this historic home with modern amenities. As others have noted, the owners are local & met us for check in, gave excellent recommendations for dinners, and told us about the house. The house is very spacious, we particularly enjoyed the large bathrooms. The backyard is fantastic, we were tired from travel and enjoyed take out by the pool our first night. The location is excellent for all things “museum district”, it’s a short walk to major sites. There is large parking lot right across the street if you have a car. House is super clean. We would absolutely recommend!

Amazing vacation and home!

This home is beautiful from the house key to the garden with pool! We very much enjoyed staying in the Garden, and it felt like a home away from home. My children loved the long wooden floored hallways. I loved the structure, and history of the home. The hosts were amazingly hospitable.They allowed the kids to feed the fish and delivered amazing treats. It is conveniently located. A nice walk to many sights, restaurants, shops, and great park for the children to play at. I can't wait to come back! Thank you so much for sharing this gem with our group!!
