”Nice location (quite remote and quiet) and friendly staff. Some gaps in the breakfast service, e.g. lacking glasses, plates etc. And the breakfast ended already at 9 which was very early for me. The condition of the hotel was quite worn-out and occasionally dirty, there were several spiderwebs and spiders in the hallway and the smell of our room was musty. ”

”Stayed whilst visiting the Lakes. Hotel was perfect for us as a family with children age 10 to 16. The buffet breakfast was a good selection, children loved the pancake machine. We also loved the pool, you had to pay extra but I felt this was worth it, the pool was a good size and steam room, sauna and jacuzzi nice for adults to relax. The hotel had a nice atmosphere, nice reception area with lovely open fire to sit by.”

”I was here for work, so slightly different priorities. But I enjoyed breakfast in my room and the whole order the night before set up, which included the time you wished to eat. Breakfast was good. this also meant the room had a table, which in my situation was very useful.
Tea and coffee etc could be replenished from hall box. Good quality toiletries. Comfortable bed.
Car parking on site, in fact very convenient all round.”

”The room was lovely & comfortable. The Evening meal was delicious.
The only thing that let us down was the breakfast. It didn’t seem to be freshly cooked and wasn’t very hot & not very well cooked. A shame. If we stay again we will not pay extra for the breakfast.”

”The room was small but very well maintained and clean. The breakfast you could not fault, although you had to give your choice on the night before which personally not in favour of. The staff were very attentive, pleasant and efficient.
The situation in the middle of the village ideal and parking on site, excellent. No dogs allowed on site which I am in favour of.”
