”This was a last-minute booking because we found that the hotel we had booked months ago was condemned. As helpful as the two ladies were an amazing as they were checking us in I would not recommend staying here. Their beds are on thin wire frames. The mattress was as comfortable as a 30-year-old sofa bed mattress where springs are poking you. That wire frame and the thin mattress are then set onto metal box frames that slide on the floor every time you roll over. I didn’t sleep the whole two...

”After a nightmarish travel day in which our flight was cancelled and we had to have an overnight layover, the hotel was gracious enough to save our room, and were extremely helpful in making us comfortable. This was especially helpful because we both ended up sick while there, and needed to have a nice place to recover. The room was quiet, the staff was terrific, the amenities were awesome and the location couldn't be better. It's right across the street from the bus and rail station.”

”I never leave bad reviews and am easy to please but this was my worst experience. Upon check in, I was offput by the lack of cars in the parking lot. Then we were directed to a different lot after checking in at the lobby. We drove to the other building, still not a single car in the parking lot. We get in our room and it’s nice enough. We walked outside to look around and our key stopped working (which you need to get into the building) I called the front desk and an answering service picked up...

”We absolutely loved our stay at The Orchard House Inn! It was lovely and full of charm and character. Just what one would expect from Freeport, Maine! Our room was very comfortable, charming, and welcoming. The shower was a bit small but adequate. We stayed in the "Downstairs King Bedroom" (we called it the Book Room) and the bed was so comfortable! It was our best night's sleep on the entire trip! The healthy complimentary breakfast was very good, which we enjoyed at one of the picnic...
