Chalet't – Livingstone

”We booked the comfort chalet room but was given a double standard room instead. They have double booked by accident. I still kept the 5-star rating because 1.) The price for both were the same anyway 2.) Even established hotels make the same mistakes with double-booking. 3.) The staff, especially Priscilla and Imelda took exceptionally good care of us! They are obviously a lodge on soft opening period, most of the area is still under construction but the rooms were spotless clean. The breakfast...

”Good value for money. Staff in the reseption was very friendly and helpful organising gamedrives and boat cruises. Breakfast was good with muesli, fruits, eggs and toast. It easily kept you going on 'till lunch time. The wild life was near you.We saw hippos basically every day, as bar, restaurant and pool were overlooking Maramba river. Also two small crocodiles were patrolling the river. Wi-Fi was slow, but sufficient. The menu in the restaurant had some good choices but limited availability....

”Ystävällinen”

”The staff were friendly and nice, Bridget especially :) The small breakfast was tasty. Our room had enough space, though it was a bit outdated, you get what you pay for :D Mosquito repellent and mosquito net were provided, though we didn't see any mosquitos on our trip. Bathroom was ok. Our room was cleaned every day. Wi-fi was a bit slow but worked most of the time. There's also a little pool by the main building to cool you off after exploring the area. We can recommend this lodge for budget...

”Awesome spot for a great price! Really good scrambled eggs in the morning. Just got to book a Yango to get there, or rent a car, but I'd recommend downloading Yango (like Zambia's Uber) before you go. And have cash to pay the drivers; the credit card feature on Yango is weird.”
