”We did have some checking in issues - we didn’t receive a key box code and had to ring the host at midnight. We found it quite hard to reach the host in the days leading up to the booking.”

”Over all we had a great three night stay. Very friendly staff, good accommodation and location. Our only criticism was that when we ate in the restaurant one evening and had breakfasts the food wasn’t hot and the plates hadn’t been heated.”

”A very good multiple choices of breakfast, follow staff's instructions, we got free parking near side for three days. Like most hotel in Wales this hotel also act like restauranter, pub, and hotel. The staff are so friendly, willing to take extra effort to help us out. We even like this town's living so much, wishing to come back in the future. TO LIVE.”

”Great welcome easy check in and friendly team 😁. We arrived late after a long drive - the venue is an old pub with rooms. We navigated our way to the top floor room. As we arrived Halloween weekend we thought the dust and cobwebs in the room were part of the theme. 👻 The carpet around the bed and doors hadn’t been hoovered for months. A layer of dust was on all the light fittings and cobwebs everywhere - bed and pillows weren’t great and we could hear the noise from the high street, boy...

”On the plus side the staff were friendly, the price good, the bed comfy and the parking free. On the negative side, everything looked a bit shabby, doors were dirty, the window in the bedroom didn’t close properly and when a heavy burst of rain occurred water was flowing into the bedroom. The plugs didn’t all work, the television was hung on a wonk, the light was broken and hanging off the wall. I was woken throughout the night with people banging doors and then at 6am was a fire alarm, I left...

”Disappointing. Last time we visited we had a power cut, this time we couldn’t use the bath due to plumbing issues. To cap it all breakfast was chaos. The hotel was busy due to an event, there was no filer coffee but staff left us waiting without information. No sausage, bacon, egg except one or 2 portions coming out piecemeal. No natural yogurt or fruit salad, toaster out of order. We are pretty patient but this was unnecessary if planning had been put in place. Yes the room rates are low and...

”Wonderful accommodations in a most beautiful part of our world. The building is very old and this is not perfect. For us it was perfect. An excellent breakfast each morning and dinner and pints in the evening. Plenty to see nearby. We look forward to visiting again.”
