”The parking was good, always available . The room was pleasant. The food was good. The problems were - the position on a hectic main road, I didn’t see it mentioned on there review. The heat, though the weather was not hot you could barely open the windows and then had to shut them because of the noise of the traffic and then there was black mold on the bottom of the shower. The staff were pleasant though breakfast was not explained very well!”

”Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The hotel has heartfelt staff who made us feel welcome. The accommodation was cozy and comfortable, and we loved having a nice breakfast served right to our table each morning.
The hotel itself is in a beautiful building and neighborhood, with the added convenience of having parking available. It's in a fantastic location, with several nice restaurants and a supermarket nearby. We especially enjoyed being able to easily walk to Bute Park, and from there, on to...

”Hotel nice but rooms outdated and very tired looking, especially the bathroom. Main entrance door to hotel not working and carpet upon entry very grubby.Seemed to be maintenance going on on the top floor and one lift out of service. On the plus side comfy bed, nice staff and pleasant restaurant area.”

”A lovely place to stay in the Welsh Countryside. The room was large, quiet and comfortable. The staff were amazingly friendly (well, let's face it, aren't most Welsh people?). The breakfast was classy and of excellent quality.
I highly recommend this inn for a stay. You won't regret it for a moment.
5 stars all around!”

”Unfortunately this hotel has become a haven for dog owners which is ok if you own a dog.
The room we got allocated on arrival smelled of wet dog and I immediately went to reception to get a change of room.
We got a new room which was slightly better but every floor had dogs staying in rooms.
Unfortunately although I have owned dogs in the past it isn’t for me and will not be staying again.”

”Hotel is run down and in a poor state. Only interaction I had with staff was on check in and check out and nothing bad to say about the staff, although the maid continually knocked on our door one morning saying “house keeping” “house keeping” at about 08:00am which I was not impressed about being as we were checking out before 11 (check out time) anyway.
Unless you get a bargain don’t bother.”

”Great sized room and bathroom. Was little worried about the possible noise from pub downstairs, but it was not an issue. Bed was very comfortable to sleep in.
Easy to get in and out, even during early mornings, when the pub was not open.
Very helpful staff.
Good accommodation near the city.”
