Staff were lovely and helpful. Rooms had no AC and were dated and dirty carpets and windows. Breakfast was pretty bad - offered orange and then told none left: offered veggie breakfast which came with black pudding (not really very veggie!!). Was slid off plate for me and then came back without the veggie sausages and then told they'd run out of those too. So had egg and mushroom only as 'full veggie breakfast'. Nice lady dealing with my issues then kindly made me a proper coffee as compensation - which was great as the general coffee in offer was yakky brown water only... Staff were very polite and nice having to operate in an inadequate hotel - not an easy job I imagine. Very loud location with noisy bars etc but generally ok for a budget offering if you don't mind that. Maybe don't book the breakfast and avoid staying in hot weather.

Miellyttävä sijainti meren äärellä. Isompi superior-huone toimi hyvin kahdelle, upgrade kannatti. Aamiainen perinteisen tukeva ja hyvä, pärjäsi pitkälle iltapäivään.

"I wish we could have given more stars on this hotel because the rooms were actually very clean and lovely and comfortable. Unfortunately we were told we could check in at 3pm but when we got to the hotel, there was a sign on the door to say reception was closed until 4pm and we were given a number ..."

"Lovely olde worlde hotel with interesting history and excellent location. Right next to the castle which is also worth a visit. Food at breakfast and dinner was excellent too. The only problems are the seagulls which screech all night, steal your ice cream and cover the cars in poo."
