”Quaint hotel in Ross on Wye. Located on the Main Street with a small car park available. Rustic feel to the place, wonky stairs (although there is an alternative flight)! Room was well equipped with modern amenities and bathroom. Breakfast cooked to order with lighter options available. Good selection of beer on draught. I’d happily stay here again if in the area.”
”Nice big room. Comfy bed. Friendly staff.
Had our little dog with us and although a LOT of dog rules, she was allowed in most places. We only had continental breakfast which wss adequate. Full breakfast looked generous.
We ate one night at the restaurant which was good.
Sadly the view not idea with temporary kitchens that look lile they will be there a while.”
”Stayed at the Bells hotel for business trip. Lovely place and views. Walking distance to village of Coleford. Nice clubhouse where you could get drink food and drinks. Nice little gym in hotel but had to pay £5 a day per person . Would stay again , nice and clean although bathroom was a bit rough and no air conditioning in room.”
”⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Wonderful and Memorable Stay
We had such a lovely stay at the Radcliffe Guest House in Ross-on-Wye and genuinely could not have asked for a warmer welcome.
From the moment we arrived, Geoff and Kim were incredibly friendly, welcoming and thoughtful. Geoff kindly helped us carry our luggage to our room when we checked in, which was such a lovely personal touch. He then spent time chatting with us and sharing lots of useful local knowledge, recommending places to visit, things to see and...
”Evening meals were good. Garden was also pleasant. A lot of traffic noise especially with windows open in the hot weather. Timing of breakfasts poor especially at weekends; surely don't have to have last orders at 9.30am. Appeared under-staffed with long delays ordering drinks at the bar”
”Excellent location, always a warm welcome for us and our 2 furry babies. The staff are always lovely and really friendly. The meals are really good and it's always packed with atmosphere. We love it! Definitely be back. 👍”
”Excellent newly refurbished accommodation, comfortably appointed room with convenient en-suite shower room.
My only drawback was the stairs to bedrooms, but I am disabled, so because I forgot to mention this when booking, (with Expedia), I had to climb all 26 steps! The staff were excellent and helped with my luggage and I can’t speak highly enough about them”
