The hotel was right next to the train station, so very convenient as a base for travelling in the area as we did. Lovely peaceful location and lodge has everything you need for a relaxing stay. We’d definitely look to stay here again when we’re next in the area. Highly recommend!

Nik The Greek
Nice small cosy room that was toasty warm. Only marked it down as the milk in the little pots was just a solid mass of gloop so could not make a drink. A note on the wall advised that milk was available downstairs in the bar, which is no good if you make a first brew after the place is closed.
