”It’s a beautiful building in very pretty grounds. It’s a bit faded and needs a revamp as it has amazing potential. The bathroom was clean but the shower curtain was grubby. It was brown at the bottom. The room was clean but needs more lighting and the curtains were hard to open and close. The old mirror was very mottled and hard to use. Breakfast was ok and staff were friendly. No hash browns available. When breakfast arrived they were just absent! ‘We don’t have any’. At check out - service...

”As regular guests we have had great service and help over a few years now resolving issues that have occurred, the last one being this weekend, first aid assistance to a cut finger which happened elsewhere. Cannot fault that sort of help.”

”Lovely staff and excellent location. Rooms look as though they have been recently refurbished. Cold breakfast selection not as good as it used to be but good variety of cooked breakfasts on offer. I found the restaurant very cold in the evening but fine in the morning. Plenty of supplies in the room, tea, coffee, water, biscuits and toiletries etc.”
