”The rooms were lovely, warm and clean. Having a dog bed and food bowls was a lovely touch. The fridge was useful and we have plenty of space. The bed was very comfy. We really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the fried bread!! The staff were amazing, we wished we could have stayed longer! ”

”It sounds trite but this is truly a gem of a hotel. Beautiful location, quiet, lovely gardens, very comfortable room and first class service throughout the hotel, from welcome at reception to saying goodbye. Restaurant (Artisan Room) was very good, the staff here so very helpful and lovely with it. Food is fresh, local and well prepared and served. Could not fault it. Good wine list too. It's a beautiful old house and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”
