”This is a nice old hotel. They even upgraded our room for no reason. It is an old building, that’s part of the charm, but very well maintained and up to date furnishings. There’s a cozy restaurant down stairs and the grilled fish was very tasty.”

”The hotel is in beautiful surroundings, wery easy make some hiking around the near mountains or take a bus to Glencoe/Ben Nevis area. The rooms were a little out of date, some renovation neede there. But downstairs is in better condition, the restauranta and bar area. The breakfast is really good, a lot of options and well cooked. ”Hotelli voisi olla jotain tosi upeaa, mutta ikävä kyllä tällä hetkellä se jää kauaksi siitä. Siistiä oli kyllä, ruoka ihan hyvää ja ravintolahenkilökunnan palvelu oikein ystävällistä, mutta muuten hotelli ikävän nuhjuinen. Meidät oli majoitettu sivurakennukseen ja ikkunasta aika nolot näkymät. Liitteenä kuva. Toivomme tälle hotellille ehdottomasti tämän hetkistä tilaa parempaa tulevaisuutta, niin hienosta rakennuksesta kyse ja viehättävästä kylästä. ”

”The breakfast was full Scottish with cereal loads of tea and coffee and different juices set you up for the day , room was clean with a hairdryer, tea & coffee and TV. Staff were friendly.”

”Great location, friendly staff, very dog friendly. Room was what we needed after several days wild camping and is what you would expect for an Inn and a building from the 17th Century. Food was also great, unsurprisingly the Salmon is fantastic.”

”We were there 6 nights & it is by far the BEST guest house we’ve ever experienced.
The house is the perfect mix of being historic but also updated, so it feels fresh. Loved the high pressure insta hot water & super comfy bed.
Great location for walking to dinner each night. And it was the perfect home base for day trips to Dunnottar Castle, Balmoral, Blair Castle & Glamis Castle for the Highland Games.
The gardens and view from the house are gorgeous. As was the beautiful high quality...
