Loch Rannoch Hotellit

”The Dunalastair was a pleasant surprise at the end of a long and winding road, and I mean that literally! We booked online thinking it would shorten our ride to Edinburgh from Loch Ness because the Expedia website said it was in Pitlochry, but it’s actually 20 miles away from Pitlochry! Since it was a one-night stay and rainy we weren’t able to enjoy all of the property, but the rooms were spacious and modern, the restaurant featured excellent food and service, and the front desk staff was...

”Bella la vista sul lago. Cucina attrezzata”

”Beautiful place”

”Peter's service at check in and bar service was warm and welcoming”

”The hotel is in beautiful surroundings, wery easy make some hiking around the near mountains or take a bus to Glencoe/Ben Nevis area. The rooms were a little out of date, some renovation neede there. But downstairs is in better condition, the restauranta and bar area. The breakfast is really good, a lot of options and well cooked. The dinner options were just ok. It was good to have an option to have a packed lunch with. The personel were very friendly. Paying was too slow in the restaurant - we...

”There is no staff present and the hosts don't reply when you email them. The rooms are cozy and clean but not sound proof. Breakfast is provided along with fresh eggs but there's no way to cook them other than in a microwave. The bathroom has a tub and a handheld shower, impossible for anyone to shower without wetting the entire bathroom. The bathroom sink is little more than a birdbath. No fan or ventilation other than opening the front door.”

”This is a very historic hotel with lots of charm. If you want a modern, sterile hotel, don't stay here. If you like floors that have settled with age, friendly and interesting st aff, a great little pub with a good traditional breakfast, and steeped in the history of Scotland, this is a comfortable and safe hotel. I appreciated the value (cost and convenience) which made this stay affordable.”

”Beds were poor and WiFi reception was appalling. Other than that, it was great”

”Loved it Incredible view Very comfortable stay”

”Excellent stay at Moness. I had the executive room (twin room) with my daughter. The room was clean, very spacious and the bathroom was massive. Made good use of the swimming pool which was nice and warm. The restaurant was great - with all of the staff very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Can't wait to be back.”

”Cosy and clean. Very good Indian food and very good Scottish breakfast.”

”Huippuhieno linnahotelli, viiden tähden palvelu ja loistava ravintola. Korkeasta hinnasta huolimatta vierailun arvoinen varsinkin jos haluaa persoonallisen yöpymispaikan.”
