”The place is very quaint but a bit tight for our group. For example, you could not open the basement door and the back door at the same time. This made unpacking and reloading a challenge. The downstairs "lounge" was somewhat finished with painted walls floor and overhead. Very low ceilings down there as well. My 6'4" husband banged his head more than a few times. Not sure the basement bath and bedroom addition would considered code as there was no egress from the basement. But our stay was...

”We stayed for 9 nights in July 2025 with 4 people and 3 dogs. The home was perfect for us: clean, well-appointed, well-located close to the city, all-one-floor (one of us is handicapped), plenty of parking (even for additional visitors), and a large fenced-in yard. The beds were big and comfortable, plenty of room throughout, plenty of towels, washcloths, etc. The neighborhood is nice, we walked our dogs every day and felt very safe. The property itself was excellent, tucked away from the main road yet within walking distance of several restaurants, shops, and a supermarket. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here if you're planning a trip to the Chicagoland area!”

”Our family is spread over the Chicagoland area and this was a very central location to Downtown and various burbs for us. Property is well kept. Minor upkeep needs did not overshadow the great layout, condition, and comfort of this home. The rooms were comfortable, and we loved both the basement rec area and the outdoor patio. The fenced in back yard was a HUGE bonus for our dogs. And above all, the owners were AMAZINGLY responsive and helpful. We will definitely seek out this property next time...

”Difficulty in accessing the site with house rules, che in, and checkout instructions. Kitchen was adequately stocked, nice decor and clean. Accurate description of by the tracks- train does blow the whistle late night and early morning but oddly got used to it. Location was close to wedding venue, so that was helpful”
