”The place is very quaint but a bit tight for our group. For example, you could not open the basement door and the back door at the same time. This made unpacking and reloading a challenge. The downstairs "lounge" was somewhat finished with painted walls floor and overhead. Very low ceilings down there as well. My 6'4" husband banged his head more than a few times. ”We stayed for 9 nights in July 2025 with 4 people and 3 dogs. The home was perfect for us: clean, well-appointed, well-located close to the city, all-one-floor (one of us is handicapped), plenty of parking (even for additional visitors), and a large fenced-in yard. The beds were big and comfortable, plenty of room throughout, plenty of towels, washcloths, etc. The neighborhood is nice, we walked our dogs every day and felt very safe. ”We have a family of six adults, they have a huge couch where we could all sit comfortably together and watch a movie. We were in for a family wedding and it was nice to all stay together, rather than individual hotel rooms. We highly recommend this location if you need somewhere to stay in the Chicago land area.”

”Excellent location, right by the zoo, the place is well stocked and clean, in a nice neighborhood. Close to attractions and easy to go to other western suburbs of Chicago. Has everything we needed :). The host was great with communicating and was able to allow us to borrow a pack n play as well. Would stay again! ”

Accurate description of by the tracks- train does blow the whistle late night and early morning but oddly got used to it. Location was close to wedding venue, so that was helpful”
