”Clean room with easy check in. Parking is extremely limited. We were staying for 2 nights and I had to ask staff if I could have the second mornings complimentary breakfast. They advised we should have had our room serviced which didn’t happen. The staff I spoke to were lovely and helpful, giving me fresh towels and the breakfast. It’s a “locals” pub so it was a bit noisy late into the night. The room was clean and the neat, the bathroom was fabulous!”

”Great stay for a family of five in older style motel setting. Clean and comfortable and close to town. Heating worked a treat and we appreciated the electric blankets, spare blankets and pillows. For a budget family stay in Daylesford it does the job perfectly.”

”It was a nice authentic older style room. People with mobility issues will find getting in and out of bath quite difficult.”

Great restaurant/pub across the road. Walkable to main street, but beware of distance if you want easy walkable access to everything.”

”Overall, our stay was okay, mainly because the location was excellent. Everything we needed was within walking distance, which made getting around really easy. There were a few things that let the room down, though. We had booked a room with a king bed, but it was actually two single beds pushed together, which made the bed feel uneven and uncomfortable. ”The property was a bit tired, clean and fine. The bed was very uncomfortable for me and my wife so we didn't quite get the full R&R we'd hoped for. I'm guessing the bed is quite old, it was saggy on each side with a raised section in the middle which is typical for old beds, so not easy to get a good night's sleep - and that is in the top couple of things we are after in accommodation.
