”My spouse and I stayed at Julie’s quaint and cozy little cabin during Geodefest in nearby Keokuk. We also took an afternoon to explore Nauvoo. The location off the highway made for easy and short trips to both locations. The cabin was very clean and I was very surprised and impressed by the A/C’s ability to keep the whole place comfortably cool. While it is readily apparent that the cabin is over 100yo, the immense character adds to the charm. All the furniture is comfortable and appliances work...

” This was a perfect place for our "young-at-heart" girls' trip! The 4 bedrooms, (3 upstairs and 1 on the main level,) were great. The kitchen had everything we needed and was very clean. The house has a lot of character with a huge dining room table, a large living room downstairs, a family room upstairs, and a nice little seating area at the back of the house, so there are lots of spaces to spread out. The downstairs bathroom has a nice shower, and the bathroom upstairs has tub/shower....

”Becky and Dave are excellent hosts. We had the best time. The 3 six year olds brought their bikes and had the best time pretending the front driveway was a race track. If you want to make great memories with your family I would highly recommend this house. ”

”Comfortable home not far from Main Street. This lovely house has been restored with historic charm plus modern conveniences. Plenty of space to spread out and relax, and we would have liked to stay a little longer. Owners are extremely attentive to their renters and assist when needed.
