”Amazing! We lived in Charlevoix 55 yrs ago as newlyweds in the Coast Guard. Husband spoke with Earl Young to rent the Half House. Couldn’t afford at 150 mo!!! ! So this was soo fun. Beach down the hill, town is walk able everywhere. It’s pretty much original so enjoy the history of it!!! We’ll be back!”

”We had an excellent stay . The house lay out was perfect for our family of ten , three adult couples and four children . The families with two kids each took the upstairs suite which had 4 bedrooms and two baths . Grandparents stayed downstairs with third bath . The house was well stocked with stuff you need like dishwashing detergent , laundry supplies etc . Location was great ! Short walk or golf cart ride to sandy beach. We happened to be here during a festival so were able to see the air...

”Perfect stay in Charlevoix in a very nice neighborhood just a 10 minute walk to Lake Michigan, a 20 minute walk to downtown, or a 20 minute walk to Lake Charlevoix. Owner/property manager was extremely helpful. He has a paddleboard that we used and that turned out to be a lot of fun for all of us. House was very clean, everything worked well. There was plenty to do in and around Charlevoix like fishing, and mushroom houses, and feed the fish and hiking and golf and swimming and boating. Already...

Allowed us to park 2 trucks w/trailers in backyard 4. Way too many glade plug-ins in outlets- total of 11 5. Upstairs smells like a smoker...

”The setting is beautiful. The house is quirky and charming. Decor really leans into the rustic. I think we were the second or third visitors to the property and they were still working out a few things, but would definitely recommend to a family with older kids. There is only one bathroom and no dishwasher, but the outdoor amenities (fire pit, dock, lake) are excellent.”
