”The mini home had everything we needed, plus modern finishes/amenities and beautiful views. The layout of the property, with the two buildings, hot tub and fire pit, made it feel like we were at our own private camp. It’s so quiet, all you will hear is the sound of waves and occasional bird or squirrel. The perfect break from the city. ”

”This property is unbelievable for it's location, charm, comfort, and owner. I have stayed at many VRBO properties and this is, hands down, the best one I have stayed at. With a lighthouse and beach within walking distance, and overlooking a working harbor across the street, it is absolutely the ideal for experiencing the best of this area of Nova Scotia. The owner has amazing communication and provided an exemplary and low-stress experience. ”

”This is an amazing property! It’s very clean and everything we needed was there. The lake was so peaceful, and beautiful. The cottage is located in the woods which made it so private. The family loved swimming, kayaking, and fishing all week. We really didn’t need to do anything more than stay at the cottage. We are hoping to make it a yearly thing with family, considering that half of us live in Ontario and the other half are in Nova Scotia. Thank you again to Andrea for hosting us!!! ”

”These hosts are very friendly and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. They even came looking to find us when we couldn’t find the entrance to their property! The stairs up to the loft sleeping area are very steep, but the bed was extremely comfortable. If someone can’t manage the stairs, there is a pull out sofa also provided. Great location when looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway. ”

”Cabin was very nice but needs some small maintenance. Electrical plug at left of the sink has loose connections. Trim on left of bedroom "barn door" needs nailing. Shower has low water pressure. Only one table spoon in cutlery set and no serving spoons.These are minor issues biut would add to the enjoyment of the stay ”

”My stay at this place was nothing short of spectacular! The house is in great shape inside and out. Lee is an excellent host and very accommodating (even upon my late arrival), he had everything well laid out inside the property as well as outside of it.The kitchen is well furnished with all your cooking utensils available, as well as plenty of garbage/recycling/compost bags ready when needed.
