”I stayed here, but there was no lantern or scissors provided, and the lantern in my friend’s unit was broken too. So I asked for a replacement, but I was told there wasn’t one available and to just deal with it. I asked them to help resolve the issue, but all they said was to talk to the manager in the morning. I think that is very poor customer service.”

”I have had the experience of staying in numerous hotels previously, but unfortunately, the Stamford Suite fell short of expectations, particularly given its location in a city with a high cost of living. My disappointment was palpable. In contrast to the superior accommodations I encountered in some Third World countries, the Stamford Suite left much to be desired. Upon arrival, the front desk personnel failed to greet me, and when I expressed gratitude for the key, I wasn't acknowledged....

”1: The rooms do not have a mattress for a bed. They use a futon pad on a platform. These are not only very firm but extremely uncomfortable. I had 3 of the worst nights of sleep in my life, and this was a major contributing factor. They recently remodels all the rooms but cheaped out on the bed.

”This is a wonderful place to stay and William, the host, is amazing. He greets you, tells you everything you need to know about staying there and even provides lovely choices for a nice continental breakfast, and coffee, tea and snacks for whenever. It's a beautiful Victorian house that has been impeccably refurbished and cared for. It's very clean and comfortable. William will make you feel right at home!”

”We have stayed at several VRBO's that are individual rooms in a historical residence, this was by far the best. The host's attention to individual detail was beyond expected. The time spent there was like "a night in the museum". The apple pie that greeted us was superb (we waited until breakfast the next morning).
