”First, we didn't get the check-in instructions until we arrived. So we had tried a code I got from VRBO but that wasn't right, so had to call host. Secondly, the condition of the unit did not meet our expectations. It did not look like the pictures on the website. It is in need of some TLC. And to greet us, was a leaking kitchen ceiling! We called the hosts to report it. We wiped up the water on the floor and put a couple bowls on the floor to catch the drips. And this couldn't have been...

”This place is in a great location. But, what a disappointment. This place was so dirty and run down. Dirty floors and rugs, dirty stove top, very dusty, dirty tub, filthy tub mat, mangy bath towels, dog hair on couch, and snot rag that had been left. I sent a text/ pictures showing the host the condition of the place on Friday and again on Saturday morning. But, he didn’t bother to respond until 11:00 AM on Saturday (13 hours later) and not through text. After going back and forth, he gave...

”My family and I had a wonderful stay. The host was welcoming and the property was clean and accommodating! Plenty of privacy and room for my doggos to play in the yard. Great atmosphere in the area with very welcoming locals at the stores and wineries across the way. We would surely stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful weekend and allowing my family to make unforgettable memories. This is a cute historical home that makes you feel part of the area.”

”Overall the space and stay was as described. A few things to note: I’m not convinced that the door code is changed between guests. That did not make us feel super comfortable. As it says in the listing there is a door in a bedroom that connects with another rental unit. That door has a gap of several inches at the floor which allowed a lot of noise to pass through. Also, there is a coffee shop below the place. The coffee shop started their music at 8 am both days even though they don’t open...

”The place was spotless and extremely cozy. It felt like we were at home with that missing touch of being away from the hustle and bustle. The outside seating was our favorite place to end the evening each night. The recliner was so comfortable after a long day and the attention to bathroom supplies was like we never left home. While it’s a bit of a drive to what you may be use to on a daily basis, it’s perfect enough to remind you what vacation is all about. There’s no tv but you don’t even...
