”We had a beautiful room on the third floor with great views from the balcony. Breakfast was standard with good variety .We did choose to eat out one day since there are several good breakfast places. Room was clean and for the most part quite. The property was relatively empty when we were there. There are many gathering places with beautiful gardens. Location is close to many things in the area.”

”It is a beautiful hotel. The staff was wonderful. The restaurant is great. Our disappointment was in the room for the large price we paid. The room was much smaller than others. It did not have a microwave or fridge. The shower was dangerously small and extremely slippery. No hand rails at all. ( has towel racks on glass door but can’t use as a hand rails or it would break the door) The slippery fiberglass floor in the shower had no ridges or protective grooves. Very easy to fall. ”I should have cancelled my reservation right after my two interactions with the front desk staff over the phone. I spoke to females both times and they were rude, condescending and acted like I was being a nuisance with my phone calls. When I arrived the front desk area had a bizarre odor. The room had the smallest TV I have ever seen in a hotel room. And there was only one nightstand for a king size bed. Needless to say I will not be staying here again.”

”The Hotel was a restored 1848 Hotel. It was nice in some ways. Problems were, there was no one working at the hotel, there was a phone number posted that you have to call them wait till someone comes across town and check you in and give you a key. Sucks. You are now checked in, the restaurant and the bar close at 8:00 sharp. We had 40 minutes to sit down and enjoy a drink and order and eat our food. Sucks. ”The room was not too bad, could have been cleaner. We asked for handicap room since my husband must use a cane to walk but none was available on the first floor. With no elevator, he had to use the stairs one step at a time getting to iur room and luggage upstairs. The outside was awful, garbage everywhere, garbage cans running over, Several Puerto Ricans standing outside smoking and throwing cigarette butts on the ground.
