”Our host was really helpful and made things super easy. We were just passing through for work and typically sat in a hotel room but there were just no good choices in Manchester, IA so we found this lovely place on the lake. It was very clean , quiet and comfortable. The bed I slept in was in the master and it was really comfortable!! I would definitely stay here again! Very nice place with a nice view on the lake!!”

”The Firefly Cottage was very well appointed with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We had plenty of dishes, pots/pans, glasses, eating and cooking utensils. The beds were comfortable and lots of clean towels in kitchen and bath; plenty of TP, kleenex, salt and pepper, and a few other kitchen items to use. There were 3 TV's! We did have difficulty getting the sound loud enough on the TV, couldn't figure it out. We could have called owner and I'm sure they would have helped...

”Stayed for a 4 day baseball tournament at Pleasant Meadows and this house made the entire tournament relaxing. The house was super cute, comfortable and have everything we needed to wind down from and prepare for a day of baseball. Owner left great recommendations for food and things to do. They were very prompt answering any questions and it is close to EVERYTHING! Definitely a go to house for a quiet yet convenient vacation.”

”We took a long weekend and stayed at The Lake House for the first time. This is a wonderful place. Peaceful and quiet, we enjoyed listening to the birds and watching the water. It was clean and comfortable and felt like home. Highly recommend!”

”I lead a young adult retreat for our church (24 people). Had a wonderful time, beautiful lodges, great scenery, and tons of stuff to do at the Lodge. Check-in and out was easy, good communication, and place was clean and easy to use. We had a wonderful time!”

”The cabin was clean, had plenty of supplies (bedding, towels, etc.), and the property was beautiful. We really appreciated the use of the watercraft. Andy was a great host, and super easy to get ahold of. Overall we had a wonderful stay. ”
