”Everything was spot on: clean, well maintained, well equipped kitchen. There was a beautiful garden to use too. The hosts, Jon and Sara were lovely with plenty of helpful hints, advice and general information. I would certainly recommend!”

”We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place.”

”A lovely setting for getting back to basics. Josh and Natalie we're incredible hosts who couldn't have done more. Highly recommend the breakfast hamper, the food was delicious with proper, yellow yolked, eggs! Our kids loved seeing the alpacas, chickens, guinea pigs, ducks and the glamping element. Can't recommend it enough.”

”The property manager was so kind and really accommodated our requests to remove all fragrances and fragranced linens to support our son’s asthma triggers. We had such a great time as the location was 1 minute from everything! The place was modern, comfortable and spacious. The only downside was the baby seagull who liked to greet us early in the morning on the roof velux windows first thing in the morning. Something to expect by the seaside. ”What a hidden gem The Annex, Rose Cottage is. Perfectly situated if you want a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of life! Nancy & Paddy are very welcoming hosts on hand to offer local knowledge on the best pubs to visit, walks to take or supply any small thing you may have forgotten. ”Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning.”
