”Before the warm weather hit we decided to head to to Pine Mountain to snowboard for a weekend in between sports seasons for our kids. We booked this property based on location and past reviews. The house is so close to the mountain and was incredibly clean from top to bottom. There was plenty of space to hang out and plenty of beds for our 3 kids. ”My husband and I enjoyed the cottage. The decor was beautiful. We had a very relaxing time and we enjoyed sitting outside on the deck. We saw some deer walking through the property too. There is much you can do in that area. We got some hiking in while and enjoyed good food from restaurants in the area. We will go again and stay longer next time!”

”Super cute little lakefront property! Conveniently located a short drive from Marquette. We caught fish off the dock and went for a swim in the lake to cool off after a session in the hot tub. All the amenities we needed were there, a true little gem. ”

”The apartment was spotless, newly remodeled, and a really great place to stay at a much lower price than the Marquette or Munising areas. We will definitely stay there again, however, the only critique is that the beds are very very firm… so be forewarned. The couch is a small futon and not very comfortable either, however, by folding it down and adding pillows from the beds, we were able to make it comfortable in order to decompress from a day of hiking. ”Republic is pretty much in the middle of the U.P. so everything is a 45 min drive and up for sight seeing, which made it great for what my wife and I planned. Be advised the cell coverage in most of the U.P. is not good.This property is nice and private with a gate at the end of the driveway. The owners Ken and Sara are awesome with communication, they get back to you with great information and a quick response. Will definitely consider this again for future stays. Dan and Melissa”
