”We love staying at the Garst House whenever we’re in town to visit family. We love the interesting history of the place, and all the old furnishing. Everything is old, and yet, spotlessly clean. It’s like staying at Grandma’s house.”

”Beautiful property - better than advertised! Our stay was peaceful and quiet, and we loved the owners' access to the hiking trail right though their backyard. The place was spotless, with great water pressure and comfortable bed, and the kitchenette had what we needed so we could stay there and make all our meals. The owners were friendly and very quick to help when we asked a question, but also very much gave us our privacy for our quiet weekend.”

”This house was perfect for our family gathering in my wife’s hometown. Plenty of room for the 8 of us to sleep, and a large dining/living room area for a family meal and space to visit. The beds were comfortable. 2 grandsons claimed the room in the basement with a couch and loveseat. This will definitely be top of our list again if we have another family gathering here. Large smart TV in the main room. Smaller TV in some of the bedrooms. Nice book collection, and some DVD’s.”

”We had a relaxing fun time getting all 4 little cousins together for a long weekend. This was a perfect place do so- we played in the pool, utilized the playroom, went for nature walks around the property and played outside while grilling. A wonderful time for adults and kids alike!”

”Had the best stay here during a two-day training in a neighboring town. House was big enough for my children to run around and play in and the fenced in yard was a plus! Super easy check-in/check-out process! Everything was very clean, kitchen was a great size, living room area had plenty of seating. My toddler loved looking out the window at the ducks they had waddling around their yard. Overall a great, quick stay with great hospitality from the host!!”

”This property has everything you can imagine(except a swimming pool). But no matter, lots of space for large groups to share thoughts and meals. Private spaces for personal conversations or just to think alone. The huge kitchen allows your group to help with meals easily. Close to downtown and groceries. Couldn’t have wished for a better place for our family to get together without a worry or a care.Grateful!”

”I and my family were quite impressed with the property. We have stayed at several short term rentals in the past and this one has been our favorite. From the very nice and spacious house that allowed adults and kids to sleep comfortably to the spacious outside space that gave us room to play and enjoy the nice spring weather it was all fabulous. If we have the need to stay in the area again I absolutely would use Timberpine Lodge again.”

”New house in new neighborhood. Plenty of room for the five of us. Great location close to dining and grocery’s. 25 minutes to airport. Some minor supply and WiFi issues that were quickly resolved by the owners. Owners were very kind. ”

”Chestnut Hill was the perfect location for family from different states to reunite back in our hometown. The home was charming, comfortable, and exceptionally stocked to relax, cook, host, and enjoy each other’s company. We were happy to find the place and would absolutely stay again! ”

”We stayed here on a trip for the Knoxville Nationals. Went to the John Wayne Museum, seen the bridges. The house is a nice house, met many locals at the pharmacy-resturaunt in the square downtown, very friendly, ate at several other local spots, all good service and food. The area is quiet and the house in great shape, clean, had plenty of towels and comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend if you need a place in this area. ”
